Sebastian enjoyed a misspent youth, growing up in Cambridge before going to Sheffield to do his degree. He has worked in pubs, restaurants, the ski industry and hotels in Canada and the UK. Sebastian has run Cantab Catering Ltd, his own sports and events catering company, since 2001. From 1994-98 Sebastian was Steward of the Hawks’ Club and has been involved in various ways since then.  He joined the board in 2021 as Director of Operations.
