Catherine Twilley read Classics at St John’s College, Cambridge. Since 2008, she has been a Fellow and the Development Director of Christ’s College, responsible for the College’s fundraising and alumni relations programmes. She is a Governor of Hills Road Sixth Form College, Cambridge, and a Trustee of Cambridge Sports Lake Trust. Recently she has become a Volunteer Steward at the Cambridge Mass Vaccination Centres. Having been a keen swimmer while at school, Catherine took up rowing at St John’s and was in the Lent Headship crew of 1992 and the Fairbairn-winning crew of 1990. From 1998 to 2008, she was the Senior Treasurer of the Lady Margaret Boat Club. These days, she enjoys going to the gym, and supports her daughter who is a national level Cheerleader.
